WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

To keep your Campstead tee looking issued-yesterday for years, follow the care protocol below. Logged in the ledger, tested at the campsite.

  1. Wash and dry inside out. The print rides shotgun, not point.
  2. Cold or low-temperature water with a mild detergent. Save the heat for the kettle.
  3. Skip extra or heavy spin cycles. The shirt prefers a gentle trail.
  4. Air drying is recommended. If tumble drying, keep it away from heavy fabrics — it packs light and likes company that does too.
  5. Iron inside out on low heat if you must. Never directly over the printed areas. (Ironing at a campsite is not required and, frankly, suspicious.)

Proper care preserves the look and feel of your garment over time. The campfire smell is optional but encouraged.

Field Document 04-A — Measurement Protocol

HOW TO MEASURE

CHEST WIDTH LENGTH

Fig. 1 — laid flat, wrinkles permitted.

Chest width. Measure across — not around — the chest, one inch below the armhole, with the shirt laid flat. Around is a different number and a different argument.

Length. Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem. Gravity assists.
